We are again supplying money to purchase backpacks and school supplies for the students at Christopher House. When school begins in the fall, we want the children to have the excitement of having these new supplies. The suggested donation is $20, but all contributions are very welcome! Please donate checks, cash or use the church’s website choosing Christopher House Backpacks from the dropdown menu. Make checks payable to Presbyterian Women and indicate CH Backpacks on the memo line. We are asking for these monetary donations only. Your support is needed now more than ever! Thank you.

Event Details
On Thursday, June 20, at 7:00 pm, please join Kim Hogan in the Parlor for a discussion of His Truth is Marching On: John Lewis and the Power of Hope. Civil rights icon and U.S congressman John Lewis, who at age twenty-five marched in Selma, Alabama, and was beaten on the Edmund Pettus Bridge, was a visionary and a man of faith. Drawing on decades of wide- ranging interviews with Lewis, Jon Meacham writes of how this great-grandson of a slave and son of an Alabama tenant farmer was inspired by the Bible and his teachers in nonviolence.
