Career Transition Resources
(Christian Education Wing)

First Pres is offering free resources and consulting for people looking for new employment opportunities. Our Career Transition Resources program helps our members and the larger community deal with one of the realities that has come about during the last few months: increased involuntary job loss. Experienced HR members are available to help with such actions as resume building, practice interviewing, career planning, and more.

If you would like to be connected with our Career Transition Team, or know of others who might want career guidance, please send an email to [email protected]. You will be contacted shortly thereafter to confidentially discuss how we can best help you.

Next Career Planning Course

Spring 2024

This six-week class covers the most important cornerstones of your job search or career journey, including self-assessment, budgeting, resume building, marketing, networking, interview preparation, and negotiations. Whether you’re on the hunt for a new job or seeking a change in your career path, you don’t have to face these challenges alone.

(Chapel)

Teachers present multi-week series on scripture, Christian books, and spiritual topics that are relevant to the Christian journey. These series are separate and apart from our Sunday morning adult education with offerings intended to provide different perspective from the Christian worldview.

Middle School Youth Group
(Grades 6-8)

MSYG is a time for middle school youth to gather together for faith, fun, and fellowship. Learn more about Youth Group on the Youth Group page.

Children’s Choir
(Grades K-5)

The children’s choir will rehearse in the Sanctuary during the latter half of Family Night dinner on Wednesday evenings, from 6:30-7:00pm. Adult volunteers will take the kids from Fellowship Hall to the Sanctuary and then from the Sanctuary to Kids Connect. For more information contact Nick Pulikowski.

Kids Connect
(Grades K-5)

During Kids Connect, children in Kindergarten through 5th grade enjoy gym time and hands on creative activities. Throughout the program year, Kids Connect workshops provide children with the opportunity to explore a skill or hobby in a smaller setting.

Family Night brings together the congregation and the community for fellowship, learning, and fun!
