The Mission Committee is accepting donations for Hygiene kits that will be distributed at a Community event in North Lawndale sponsored by the YMEN (Young Men’s Educational Network). YMEN’s mission is “To prepare young men and women in North Lawndale for leadership by helping them grow in their faith and character, develop a love for learning, and use their talents to serve the community and strengthen our families.” For more information on YMEN click here.
Donations of the following items will be accepted at the church Beginning Friday May 14 – Monday May 24th – travel size Kleenex, travel size hand sanitizer, toothbrush, travel size toothpaste, travel size mouthwash. A basket for donations will be located at door 9 during the week. Donations can also be dropped off at worship on May 16th and May 23rd.
