Every Wednesday, Family Night begins with dinner, served buffet style, from 6:00-7:00 pm in Fellowship Hall. Dinner offers an excellent chance to connect with old friends and make new ones, all while enjoying great company and delicious food. After dinner, we offer programming for the whole family from 7:00-8:00 pm.

• Children’s Choir (Grades K-5) rehearses from 6:30 – 7:00 pm in the Sanctuary.
• Adults are encouraged to attend the adult education offering of the evening. Adult ed offerings range from book discussions to current event discussions to storytelling and beyond.
• Middle schoolers (6th-8th grade) meet for youth group.
• K-5th graders participate in Kids Connect.
• High schoolers (9th-12th grade) are invited to volunteer with Kids Connect or attend the adult ed offerings.
• Nursery care offered, if needed, based on attendance.

We are trying something new this year – An Organ Crawl!

We’ll visit four local churches to hear the different pipe organs in our own backyard. Each one has its own distinct sound.

Each church will feature 20 minutes of music and then we’ll be on our way to the next church.

The final concert will be at First Pres with a light reception to follow. An afternoon you won’t want to miss!

We will begin at St. Peter Lutheran at 4:00 pm and conclude around 6:00 pm at First Presbyterian with a light reception.

The traditional salad luncheon will be held Wednesday, May 21, at 12:00 pm in Fellowship Hall. Please bring a dish to pass.

Following the luncheon, we will welcome Amanda Moller, owner of a new store in Arlington Heights called Greener Good. Amanda will explain her vision for this creative reuse shop which receives and shares second-hand arts and craft supplies to support schools, non-profits and workshops.

Time to show your pride! The Mission committee is again sponsoring an entry in the 7 th annual Buffalo Grove Pride Parade. The parade will take place on June 1 st 2025, stepping off at 11 AM.

Come out and show your support of our LGTBQ+ community at this fun family friendly event. Look for more details and sign up in May.

The Wednesday Produce Market and Community Dinner returns! This year we’ll be offering produce and dinner for eight Wednesday evenings, from July 9 to August 27, from 6:00-7:00 pm. We’ll be asking for volunteers through Signup Genius in June.
