Groups of eight people (couples, singles, or a combination) come together four times over the year to share a meal. At the end of year, the groups gather for a meal and celebration. The groups are then shuffled for a new year of fellowship, food, and fun. Sign-ups for the 2018 Breaking Bread groups will be available later in the year.
The Bridge (singles, couples, and parents, 30-50+)

The Bridge has three focuses: spiritual, social, and service. The group meets regularly for fellowship, in gatherings and activities for families and for adults only. Its members also come together Sunday mornings at 9:45 for the Coffee: Grounds for Discussion study group. Often the group takes part in service projects either during Coffee Grounds time or at different times and locations.
Projects include cooking, baking, and/or decorating the First Pres PADS site and serving a variety of outside organizations.

Join this group to ride bikes for fun and fitness. Bicyclists of all ages and abilities are welcome. Helmets are required. Complete the brief form to express your interest and join our e-mail list. This group requires a waiver for adult and youth participants.

Fitness Boot Camp

You are invited to take part in a boot-camp-like fitness class each Saturday, 8:30-9:30 am in the First Pres Gym. Taught by church member Fernando Egea, this class will help you get in shape and stay fit. Drop in for this free class! This group requires a waiver for adult and youth participants.
Make It Take It

Once a month on a Tuesday evening, at 7:00 pm in the Choir Conference Room, join us to get creative with those around you. Each month we will make something new to take home or give as a gift. The cost of this small group changes monthly for the materials needed. Watch for new project dates.
Pathways (singles, couples, and parents, 20s & 30s)

There are many pathways in life as we grow in relationships with each other and God. Pathways at First Presbyterian is a social and service group for both families and individuals. Most of us are in our late 20s and 30s, but all are welcome. Here is a sampling of our monthly activities: Summer BBQ, a day at the race track, fall chili night, Christmas party, making cards for hospitalized church members, potluck dinner, off-site volunteer events, dinner at a local restaurant, and taking part in the First Pres Service Day. Some events are for adults only and some include the kids.
Presbyterian Women (PW) offers growth and friendship through daytime and evening circles to study and grow in faith and community. Circles meet monthly on the third Wednesday during the day, and one meets in the evenings on the third Tuesday of each month. “Gatherings” are held for special programs, and there are many opportunities to support the local and international missions. All women of the church are members, and are welcome anytime. To join a circle, contact the church office.

Looking for a way to stay active in the cold winter months? Join the First Pres Indoor Walking Community Group! The group follows an indoor circuit around the interior of the church building. Meet in the Narthex at 5:00 pm. If you are running late, just locate the group and join in.
